If your child is away, please take a look in the Classroom Info section to see what we have been working on in class. I will post some of the acitvities that we have been working on here to allow students to stay more current in their learning when home sick.

Welcome to Mrs. Cooledge's home page!

Here you will find information regarding upcoming events, what's happening in class, copies of the update, as well as helpful websites that we use in class and I recommend to use at home.

A few reminders to help our year be a success:

  • Please read and sign the agenda each night. The students use this to tell you about their day at school as well as upcoming events and homework that they may have.
  • Please make literacy a part of your evening routine for at least 20 minutes. This can be reading to your child, them reading to you or reading together.
  • Please pack healthy snacks and lunches. I encourage the students to have fruit, vegetables, crackers and cheese, half a sandwich or yogurt for morning snack. These foods help fuel their brains and sustain their attention during our literacy and numeracy base mornings more effectively than snacks high in sugar.

Feel free to email me at RVSMail or write a note in your child's agenda with any questions or concerns you have.
