Playground

The founding members of FOFS had one initiative in mind when they formed as an offical fundraising society in Dec '2016 - BUILD A PLAYGROUND. But not just any playground. A fully inclusive, of every grade, age and ability AND a fully accessible playground - a place to play for EVERYONE! After 18 months of successfully funsraising the group raised more than $150,000 to top off the $250,000 AB governement playground grant and built our award winning, National Demonstration Site certified, state of the art inlcusive and accessible playground! Which was volunteer built in Sept '2018 and offically opened for use Oct '2018.
